Spread over area of 1,10,159 square feet with 13 rooms
at present, Tirthankar Mahaveer Vidya Mandir started
its journey with 158 students on 15th July 2002 on the
auspicious occasion of Lord Mahaveer 2600th Jayanti,
under banner of Veerayatan in collaboration with JAINA-USA.
It is housed in its own building at Lachhuar, Sikandra
in the district of Jamui in Bihar.
Balance between
academics and development of the body and soul.
- The School
encourages in students - spirit of dedication, purity
of thoughts, sacrifice, love for knowledge, growth
of inner personality, ahimsa, vegetarianism, value
of character & self reliance.
- Curriculum : The School is at present upto Std. 8th & follows
a C.B.S.E. pattern with medium of instruction being
English & Hindi taught as second language. Academic
year starts in April & ends in March. An eclectic
mix of sports, physical training, music, Computers,
vocational training with academic classes for all
round development of the child.
- Evaluation : Four unit tests are conducted besides half yearly
& final examination to assess the student’s
progress. The progress report card is sent to the
parents to enable them to track progress of the child.
- Bus Service for students within 15 Kms.
- Vocational Training Viz. Computer and sewing is being imparted to the
students under the guidance of qualified teacher.
- The school has slowly and steadily
gained strength from 158 to 495.
- Sports Activities : Football fields, Cricket Pitches, Badminton Courts
and all types of Indoor Games are available and encouraged
to play.

All cheques / Drafts should be drawn in favour of “VEERAYATAN”,
payable at Rajgir (for Indian Citizens) and payable
at Kolkata ( for NRIs and Foreigners) drawn on the State
